We are not going to race at the paintball biathlon on Sunday due to cold temperatures. When looking at the BKL recommendations, it says that racing is not recommended at the temperatures we are expecting for Sunday. This is really a bummer as the paintball race has gotten such good reviews in the past and I was very excited for our group to get to experience it.
Fear not, we will have our biathlon presentation at practice tomorrow as planned. Perhaps we can have our own sort of biathlon later in the season - skiers, do you have any ideas??! We will NOT be waxing at CVU as planned since we will not be racing...but, I WILL STAY UNTIL AT LEAST 5:30pm TOMORROW TO WORK ON TECHNIQUE WITH ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED. It is a skate practice, so if you want to work more on your skate technique and you have a ride arranged/parent permission to stay a bit later, you are welcome to stay and work on technique. I know some of you have been looking for more and I understand how difficult it is with our practices being so short!
