"DRY"land practice tomorrow & Stowe Derby

We are going to do a dryland practice tomorrow, same place, same time. I was thinking of trying to get us to have practice at CVU, but as of now, we're going to be up at Sleepy Hollow. Please bring sneakers for outside and some indoor shoes as well.

Thanks for hanging in there....maybe part of our workout will be a snow dance!

Also - a quick note on the Stowe Derby. This is a great race on Sunday February 28th this year. I haven't discussed going to the BKL festival in Maine with any of the skiers yet, and from what I understand, going to the BKL festival is not something that Sleepy Hollow has done in the past. I am thinking that the Stowe Derby would be a great finale as an alternative to going all the way to Maine. There is a short course (6km) for the Derby that would be open to our skiers (you need to be 14 to do the long course, so I don't know how many of our group that includes). I have always known this race to be put on really well, both as a spectator and participant. I am also aware of a discounted race fee that is available to us, but skiers will need to let me know of their intent to race by February 15th. The short course fee is usually $25 so it would be less than that. I am definitely in favor of us attending this race. Please let me know your thoughts when you get a chance. You can copy and paste this to see the brochure - my apologies for not being savvy enough to figure out linking it - http://teammmsc.org/stowederby/DerbyBrochure2010.pdf
